Description:  The goals of this subgroup, falling under the Chassis and Drive-Train Group, are: to increase the team's level of awareness regarding the use of carbon-fiber and other composite materials, to research composite materials and lay-up techniques, to perform numerical analysis and extensive testing to determine the viability of composites for use in the chassis, brackets, components, suspension components and other specific types of structural components.
