Description: The goals of this subgroup, falling under the Engine and Electronics group, are: to research the feasibility of using alternative engines, to determine and achieve the minimum performance characteristics with the smallest (lightest) engine possible, to present the benefits and tradeoffs of smaller engines, to research possible modifications to smaller engines for optimal FSAE performance, to research the feasibility of an air-cooled engine and to consider the use of E-85 fuel to run the engine (current and new engine).
